    Titan Quest

I'm going to be playing tonight. Who is with me?
  7. i am honestly a fan of both. i like having a base install of a game on a disk. i can patch the game with having a major portion of it installed already, so it takes less time. steam downloads are much more convenient, and 20mb connection, so most games are downloaded in a flash.

    Titan Quest

well I had fun last night. can't wait to do it again. had to leave somewhat early for dinner, and popped on in single player to test out a build. I was looking at hunter/dream as suggested, so right now im going full hunter.

  10. i bought the same monitor a few weeks ago for the same price. i love the monitor when i game on it. do NOT even try to sit close to it, because when i did (2-3') i started feeling sick..i would sit back at least a few feet. also, having a single x1900xt and this monitor is quite nice. i have played CS:S at native res, maxed settings at around a constant 100fps (with smoke nades it drops to around 75ish). with R6V, however, it wasnt all that great. with native res i think i played with medium settings. it was playable but there were some scenarios where i could get slide shows. *keep in mind* this is on a non O/Ced e4300, and a stock x1900xt. seeing that you have a 8800gts, you should do pretty well. cant wait for pics.
  11. i have it for the wii and its pretty fun...seems like a party game for 1-4 people
  12. i use a g15 and a razer copperhead..i love both..although for CSS is use max DPI/sensitivity..for vegas i find that i turn down the sensitivity alot, otherwise my aiming is all over the place and i cant kill. i used to use a solid dell quietkey, but i find that in FPS games it wont read too many key inputs at once, forcing me to come to a stand still..on the g15 i dont have the problem, and it doesnt randomly stop me.
  13. hey and welcome..im sure you will like it here.

    Asus G2P

i dont have the G2, but i do own an asus z70va. i can tell you that the build quality on this notebook is top notch. there is barely any keyboard flex. BUT if you plan on gaming i suggest getting a cooling pad. also download something called NHC (notebook hardware control) it is a battery optimizer with mhz/overvolting/undervolting/battery life settings manager..very nice little program.

  16. seems quicker, but there are times when it seems to take awhile to load.
  17. great work to all associated, thanks for working hard to keep diy up and running. now back to regular scheduled programming
  18. would i buy it? no.. would any of diy-street buy it? most likely not would the person who wants a game computer, but knows nothing about it or overclock or a gigabyte from a sound card? yes. that is who the computers are designed for imo..the people who DONT know and have the money to spend...nothing wrong with that...even if some people DO know, they may just not feel like building it, or have the time...regardless of that...getting a warrenty on your overclock is pretty sweet even if the overclock isnt anything special.
  19. i think if you owned that car, you would have enough money to have a contract with mcdonalds to deliver to you, or you wont have one in your house.....OR the most probable...your butler/maid would get you one so you dont get your $100,00 suit dirty.
