Aeka Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Merlin, dn take offence. 2141240000E4161D ;11X? 2141250000E4161D ;11.5X? 2141250000E4161D ;12X? 2141260000E4161D ;12.5X+? 2141230000E42725 ;5X 2141240000E42725 ;5.5X 2141250000E4261D ;6X 2141260000E4261D ;6.5X 2141200000E4161D ;7X 2141210000E4161D ;7.5X 2141210000E4161D ;8X 2141220000E4161D ;8.5X 2141220000E4161D ;9X 2141230000E4161D ;9.5X 2141230000E4161D ;10X? 2141240000E4161D ;10.5X? Try replacing E4h with EDh, then FDh. As an experiement, though it'll slow you way down. Try F1h, then E1h (if Fxh is to aggressive for that board/cpu). F1h/E1h is way slack ont he memory, but allows some very very easy clocking. ED/FDh is the most aggressive. The best way of going abut it from what I've found so far is: 2141240000ED161D ;11X? 2141250000ED161D ;11.5X? 2141250000ED161D ;12X? 2141260000ED161D ;12.5X+? 2141230000FD2725 ;5X 2141240000ED2725 ;5.5X 2141250000ED261D ;6X 2141260000ED261D ;6.5X 2141200000ED161D ;7X 2141210000ED161D ;7.5X 2141210000ED161D ;8X 2141220000ED161D ;8.5X 2141220000ED161D ;9X 2141230000ED161D ;9.5X 2141230000ED161D ;10X? 2141240000ED161D ;10.5X? If you use all Fdh's, it'll slow down 8.5x for some reason. But if you only tighten up 5x more, witht he rest all EDh's, 8.5x gets a speed increase as well as 9x. EDh's on all multi's (with or without FDh), will increase speed tons. Try 69 instead of 21h at the begining, this will speed you up tons. If the board/cpu can handle it. Both ed/fd, and 69h have the portential to actually increase stability, faster actually means more stability if things are right. 2141230000XX2725 ;5X 2141240000XX2725 ;5.5X Try: XX41230000XX2625 ;5X XX41240000XX2625 ;5.5X 27 is ok when you slack in other areas, but not when you tighten up. As you allready know, instead of E4h, try EB or even Fbh. I've seen FBh in a via board before btw, seen EBh on your bios'es before. Incase Xdh is to tight for the board/cpu... Try to losen 12.5x+, make it 05h for starters and work your way up. Also try... Instead of XX1Dh, try XX1Bh and see if that works out(it may or may not, it all depends on the rest of the setup). (Decreasing all by 2h) Just throwing some idea out there. I wou'dnt mind seeing the diff bettween he original and this... : 6941240000ED151D ;11X? 6941250000ED151D ;11.5X? 6941250000ED151D ;12X? 6941260000ED1515 ;12.5X+? 6941230000FD2625 ;5X 6941240000ED2625 ;5.5X 6941250000ED261D ;6X 6941260000ED261D ;6.5X 6941200000ED161D ;7X 6941210000ED161D ;7.5X 6941210000ED161D ;8X 6941220000ED161D ;8.5X 6941220000ED151D ;9X 6941230000ED151D ;9.5X 6941230000ED151D ;10X? 6941240000ED151D ;10.5X? Err, I forgot about 16 to 15h after 8.5x... I posted above what it would look like though. Regardless if you want to try this stuff or not, just don't b@tch me out for it ok ^^ ? I'm not telling you what to do or anything. Aeka | NEO
UberMario Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hello, i am a french guy, so i'm sorry for my bad english! I have a problem, 2 weeks ago, i had 2*512mb of corsair xlpt memory. I was on 310*9 synchro at 2.5-3-3-8 1t. Now, i have buy other 2*512 tccd memory, she turns on 2.5-4-4-7 at 300mhz fsb. BUT there is a big problem : i cannot overclock more than 210mhz fsb with the 4 modules together. It is the same with cpc off. I got a Dfi sli-dr expert with your bios (Merlin) and i have remarqued than other guyz with a8n.... Can o/c more than 260mhz synchro. Is it normal with a 4400+ core toledo? And i have also remarqued that, when i have just 2*512 on the yellow slots, the o/c is impossible. Is it normal too? A freind has the same problem with this yellow slots, but he had 2*1gb... I tried to sell my tccd, but nobody wants..... I'm very very sorry for my english! Thank you if you can help me!

douirc Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 your memory is running 290 1:1 or you're using a divider? maybe you're asking too much from your memory. your memory is DDR500 and you're trying to run it DDR600. you should be very happy with DDR580!
