Angry_Games Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Also in the Forest layout there is a "View Forum Leaders" link on the front page that doesn't work. I wasn't aware the Rep system was based on a sliding scale, that's a good idea. I tried to give a member Rep points for a really good post, but I added to his Rep 2 or 3 days ago. Since then I gave a few points out, but I still can't add to his Rep. Is there a timeout period or a certain amount of post I have to add points to before I can add to his Rep again? hopefully once you add rep you can't add any more that means you cant artifically inflate someone's rep
ReelFiles Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Even on a seperate post days later? Someone might have more than one brainstorm a day/week, at least I hope so.

Someone might have more than one brainstorm a day/week, at least I hope so. dont know i can give you multiple rep on the same post but that's because I am an administrator normal users can't usually do the same things as admins can which makes it kinda tough sometimes for me since I see all, read all, and control all and only when a regular user complains or alerts me to something do I know whats up sometimes
ReelFiles Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 How about a dummy account, to give you that true user experience?

Wevsspot, The I am using Black Orange Fluid but the comments for rep received is in all the themes. wevsspot Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Most awesome guys. Have been kind of busy this past Father's Day weekend and haven't had much of a chance to check out all of the changes. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Under USERCP > Control Panel > Latest Reputation Received You may click on the down arrow to the far right. I’ve hunted all over for that, and it’s not there. I’ve looked. I have 10 rep points, but can’t find out a single thing about them.
Trevor Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 I think you start with 10 points because I have 10 also.
mrzeld Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 i dont know if this has been suggested, but most of the 'lighter' themes do not make it clear where there is a hyperlink in the text. the links are not underlined and do not stand out from regular text. i am having to use the heavymetal theme so that i can see links, but i really dont like the darkness of this theme. also, most of the themes assume you are using a 1280x1024 monitor????? there are ads that make the width of the page excessively large. cant these ads be on a line by themselves so as not to make the page so wide?? also, what is up with the ads? i thought this site was supported by DFI. I pay for this site out of my own pocket I own it and I run it away from my regular duties as DFI Support Manager this forum has become my regular duty lately because of the increased traffic, the hosting costs of this site have skyrocketed, so you have a single google ad to look at (why do you guys act like there's 14 popup ads and porno ads and spyware ads all over the site???) it helps pay for the site since my paycheck and my regular life bills = eats all the money so there is none left over for hosting this site...so you either get a forum with an ad banner or you get no forum...take your pick.
