You did good then.

I had these three requirement s for a woman 1) Must have a job. 2) Must have a car that runs, preferrably under warranty. 3) 2 kids or less.. The only woman that met the requirements that I could stand was an escort.. Not much future for a realationship there.

Anyway, I'm having troubles with my CCBBE 0617 165. One core doesnt like high voltages and the other core seems to need them. Longest prime has been about 3.5 hours. I'm getting a lot of Illegal Sum Outs, never seen those before til now, and temps are fine all the way up to 1.66v. I'm just running out of things to try, 3dmark03,05,06 stable, SuperPI stable... anyone? Ive tried a minimal power startup, to free more power for the mobo even though I have the GXS 700W. Tried all kinds of cooling, cranking my AC... tried playing with RAM settings. Anyone got any tricks up their sleeves?

Read preamble and max async...have you tried leaving them on auto?

Yep. It seems that after I tried to Prime at 3051MHz, everything has gone downhill. Right now RAM is at 150 Divider, 1T-3-4-8-4-13-17-2-2-2-3-3120, everything else on auto. 3x HTT, LDT 1.20v, chipset 1.56v, vdimm 2.60v respectively. I also have a nagging suspicion that the 406BTA BIOS may not be playing nice with the Opty, could that be possible?

I believe a lot of people were sticking with the 704 beta, but I could be wrong. I recall never trying the 406 since I heard it had a few bugs, dunno if they were ever fixed.

All of my best OC's on the expert have come with E704 2BT.

The 406 bios seems to be full of compromises. I threw it back on to see if would handle my TCCD or BH-5 any better but will be moving back to the 704 this weekend.

Yeah, it felt a lot more stable on the stock 4/06, just going by the feeling I had in my pants ... lol. The 165 wants to prime stable, there's just something thats randomly throwing errors. I feel my timings are pretty loose for running at straight DDR500. voltage increases over 1.61~.62v really aren't proving to be worthwhile. Even tried a 375x8=3000 boot, and it froze. Looks like im stuck with the x9. I'm not too knowledgable on the BIOSs, including the Betas.

2BT? Ok, I'll try flashing to that and seeing if it has a difference. Keep yall posted.
