hiyas, heres my first post as the new owner of one of these kick butt boards ;)

venus number S/N : D607000179

location Queensland,Australia

Oh and heres an offer for the lucky owner of board number 666, i'll swap mine and a gig of ocz ram + pay for all the shipping both ways! (yeah i know its a weird request, goes with the theme of what i am building "The Devil Box") custom case/decals/lighting, its not strictly necessary (obviously) but would give me wicked bragging rights ;)

Well mine is close....LOL Have not seen board 666 yet. Might be deep in the mainland China, who knows.

Lets find some more Venus boards out there, I know that we can get more people on board.

In Hungary this topic is talking about our Venus mb's http://prohardver.hu/f.php?mod=40&id=268377 But it is in Hungarian language...

The floppy cable that came with package was wrong, but it has been replaced by the Hungarian distributor.

Hello, it would be a great help if you could get the people of Hungary that have Venus boards to post their location on our map. We are trying to locate as many as we can.

Floppy Cables, yes, most of them were bad from the factory. I am getting a replacement cable direct from DFI, should be here today.

I can't believe I haven't posted here yet!

My appologies, and it's fixed now! :)

Orange County, California

Board purchased from Newegg the first day available.

I thought I might be waisting money at first.

Then I saw the box and I was sure I was waisting money.

Now you couldn't make a offer I'd take (but feel free to try, starting with four figures US). :P

If not mentioned/found by anyone else yet, if you go to Corsair's web page and use the "memory selector" here:

Then select "motherboard" for the first box

Then select "DFI" for the second box

Then select "DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus"

You will arrive at this page:

EDIT: RATS - the link dosent work, you have to go through the three steps.

Therefore I think we can assume that Corsair bought at least one Venus for testing purposes!

(But they seem to have thrown there Expert away - who can blame them! :D )

This was actually what pushed me into buying the TwinX XPS4400 Pro - I didn't see OCZ or anyone else going to the bother, and now it HAS to work with the Venus!

Not sure which country you are in, so just be aware there is no international code on the front of those phone numbers, the (07) is the state area code, i dunno what the country code for australia is lol!
