Negative...

91.47 drivers are the current official driver release from nVidia.com, they replaced the old 91.31 this last september 14th... go check at www.nvidia.com

/edit

Also on page 56 of the release notes the 7900 GTO is clearly mentioned as supported by these drivers:

Thanks! On page 86 it shows a ton of cards the drivers work with. And GTO is there.

My mistake Sorry,

Wait, 86???? I read it on 56... oy, now I am confused!!!! :)

Its funny how nVidia release drivers every 90 days... and then we forget they already released new ones, its like forgetting to put gasoline on the car because it nearly doesn't use any

  • 1 month later...

As far as I know. All 6800gt's and Ultra's all have the same number of pipelines.(16#)

The GT's stock usually run @ about 350mhz core. And the Ultras 400mhz. Many Ultra's have 2# AUX power inputs moldex connectors and the GT's only 1#. If the GPU's run at higher voltages or not I myself really don't know but someone else around here will know. As far as I know flashing the bios onna' 6800gt to ultra will only increase the default clock speeds. But it may improve other things too.

Voltages I'm not sure myself but it might.
