Unofficial Opteron 939 Thread

Komplet never buy from their complete crooks so many times I have phoned them & had a foreighner who I can't understand asking for my credit card number before even giveing me a answer the CPU is in stock or if they can get one, He then assures me that his suppliers have one in stock I ask what his name is & can he send me a email confirming that which he says he can't do I then ask for his name which he says JD and he refuses to give me his full name, dodgy or what.

I placed a order with them and 10 days later they debited my account and said they could'nt deliver untill another 28 days, so be warned :)

Similar problem with RL Supplys some guy assures me that they can get one by friday and to place my order & then a few days later I call them up to order some more parts and ask about my opteron's comeing to be told 'who said they would be here on friday?' not as bad as komplet still would'nt do business with them took the money before delivering the goods also.

CPU city are'nt bad got mine from their good service.

Yikes

That's not good. maybe worth paying extra 4 more reliable supplier.

If u want more i'd just keep tracking scan. they seem 2 come in dribs & drabs - no more than 2 models at a time. I live near them & use their Q-Collect (place web order & collect) - So don't think they can have had many on back-order.

Started out @2750 then

Having trouble running 1:1 > 255, 2750 = 250x11 is ok but even after adjusting read preamble & Max Asynch struggling 4 more.

Happy now i got to 3k at a low vcore

I got 2.9G solid, but 3G is a struggle.

What did you settle on for read preamble & Max Asynch?

Hi Sparacus,

Max Asynch = 9 Read Preamble = 7.5

going great @9:10

still struggling 1:1 max inc as above is 260x11 got into XP then BSOD.

Am running g-kill in Yellow slots (switched from Orange) did seem 2 get a bit of a lift.

704-2BTA seems better than 623-3 not sure yet whether a change may help or hinder.

what's your 2.9G solid settings ??

Thanks for the info Supershanks.

Thanx

Might get a decent set between us :) :shake:

Wow

DRAM Voltage Control 3.1
i've used 2.8v about twice 2.7v 99% of time never bin that high. Mine usually start faulting in memtest #5 if mem volts are adrift.

Yep, I know it's on the high side for TCCD.

When new 2.9 was fine and then it got more hungry.

Not a good sign I'm guessing. :(

I can run Memtest stable forever at 3G, but I'm having a heck of a time getting there 3D and Prime stable.

CPU temp is 46 as I type this. I'm considering a new copper XP-90 to help that last little bit.

Ouch i don't think so.

that was same with my winnie & now this. Settings have to be realy off the wall to fail.

This might be useful, forgot in earlier post.

eve2000 - Opteron 146 - CABYE 0540 FPBW s939 results 2x256mb being used so may be a bit tighter timings than we can get with 2x512mb.

easygoer

see Step-by-step procedure for DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D - luck
