Cleaned the build up a little, renamed a few options to make them easier to understand and set the bios defaults to be more friendly at boot.
Rgone loves this build already...thought i would share here ASAP, he says its much better than anything he has tested before.
Grab it here also here

Its tested as good if you have the need to play, post here if you like the build.

Yo guys Big Tommy ain't shetting one bit. This sucker rocks. First Bios I really ever tried to boot 4 gigs at load optimized timings and had it work. Can be tweaked tighter if need be just like normal though but definitely for jsp.

Cool!

No worries with the CPU voltage going wacky and cooking it on this one right? (wasn't that the 704 version?)

The issues with 702 were that it had issues from 123% and up on the cpu vcore. I have removed these values to make this bios safer. This bios is actaully based on the 706 build that you did not see from anyone else bar me.

Also this bios does NOT have the TRCD vdimm trick so you set 2-2-2 ay 2.6v and thats what you get.

Been toying around with this BIOS for the last 30 minutes, and it works great!

I'll play around with it a little more tomorrow when I have more time. Good stuff Tony.

Just flashed to it...no reason, just brain dead I guess. Like the changes in bios. A lot of the dram setting actually show the setting instead of auto.

so is the 123% option actually present or is that one of the ones taken out? I need that option to get where I am on my board. Anyone care to check and let me know what the highest % rating is for vcore? Thanks.

113% same as previous. But a nice bios so far Drew

EDIT: Runnng it on the 3500 Winchester where I think the 123% recommendation started.

EDIT #2: Just passed OCCT at 1.58v instead of 1.6v 257x10. Always a good deal.
Was able to tighten timings as well. Will try on the 4000+ this weekend.

since most x2s need the 6/23 to play nice I would assume so.

If RGone is running 4G of RAM and got up and running easily It must have some definate merits. Worth trying if you have your backup plan in place.

I've always had good luck with BigToe's stuff. But Every rig is different.

EDIT: Posted at Xtreme by BigToe

Its NOT faster, its just more friendly at boot and seems to be more overclock friendly also.

EDIT #2 - CPU Temps on Air

gonna let it prime overnight. no issues, easy flash, danke schoen herr BigToe :)
