this is a grate CD how ever to final it off it would be nice to see the Raid drivers on this GRATE CD. For the ones that refuse to use a floppy drive

Welll this CD was never meant to be a pre-install for any OS.

 

I don't know if anyone would really use it for Raid driver install as usually people will slipstream the install disk and include the raid drivers in that.

 

On the postive note it really wouldn't take much to put them on the disc as there is no install routine from the disk, You would just have to select which ones you want.

 

Anyone else think this may be a good idea?

by the way t-mod did that email get through with the bioses?? just checking.

 

i left out the uli v2.2 drivers unless you want them as well for the cd (only ask as most will need to instal them).

well if there like me My PCs see your CD as mush as they see any OS install in fact they see your CD before every OS install

Any drivers you care to send my way would be appreciated as I get tired of searching for things after awhile.

 

Please make sure they are the latest or if they are older they work better then any new ones. We all know that newer isn't always better.

What other bios's that you sent me are supposed to go on the CD?

 

Doesn't the 07/28/2006 cover the fixes in the BETA 05/23/2006?

 

I try and shy away from BETA bios's as these are NOT covered by DFI in their warranty policy.

 

I realize that Tony's and Merllins aren't either but these have proven themselves and have been requested by several in the past.

T-mod...What other bios's that you sent me are supposed to go on the CD?

 

CFX3200-DR - tony's Untweaked 037 bios..(dfi bios is very tight on timings causing some systems stability problems).

DFI allowed him to post this as a 3rd party bios.(Relaxed timings, 2T at default and pretty boot friendly, tweak it for speed as usual).

The CD has been updated once again to version 8.5.

 

The only things that were fixed or added in this release were the following.

 

Added OCZ Tony's R5D_037 Bios For CFX3200-DR

Added R5UD728 Bios For CFX3200-DR

Fixed Graphic Corruption Issue When Using ATI x1xxx Series Video Cards

 

If you don't have the CFX3200-DR or you are not experiencing the ATI graphics problem then there is no reason to download this latest version.
