I havent played this yet (due to my crap assy video card) but i think on monday, my new 6800 will get here and ill give it whirl then. I saw something about it on g4 today with like a creepy little girl and i actually jumped when i saw it and I WASNT EVEN PLAYING THE GAME! I was just watching game footage. haha. Looks cool though. The bullttime feature looks amazing.

Ok in photoshop use the clone stamp tool. Select it, then hold alt and click your friends face, then go to the other picture and click (without holding alt) and it should go on like paint. Easy peasy.

I'd say get the lian-li. Its sexy and simple, while the acrylic one is not because you can see all the wires, no matter what, no place to hide them, plus it could get scratched and look like butt, or it could crack, and it would be really bright if you had any ccfls in there.
Basically what everybody else said.

doom 3 sucked. Honestly, i cant see anything appealing about it besides the graphics. It was just too dark, and not much fun.

Hmm. Im going to have to agree with marty on this one. I mean, IBMs are good good laptops, dont get me wrong, but the things that you're saying, "Ease of use, Light, good battery life" seem to be the characteristics of ibooks. In grade 7 and 8 we used them ALL year. Pretty much every day and i liked them (only bad thing is that we were running some 6.x OS on there so they kinda stunk, but they were new laptops) and im in grade 10 now, so it wasnt too too long ago. If your He's already a windows user though, it might be alot easier to get him somethign that he's already slightly used to.
I prefer either IBM, or... dare i say it. Toshiba.
