Furmark Gpu Benchmark Scores [obsolete]

This is so embarassing

Q9450 @ 4.0ghz

4870x2 @ 830mhz/955mhz

Score: 6876

During Furmark, it was reporting that I was running at the windows idle clock speeds but when I overclocked my score was affected. GPU-Z doesn't seem to know I'm OC'd though. But seeing as the other 4870s are doing poorly, I guess I just have to accept this. I was thinking I should be getting a score similar to the dual 5770s since a 4870~=~5770.

Hey Danrik you can overclock your hardware to get much higher scores if you want . An overclocked HD5850 deserves to be close to the top .

I agree, Danrik if you bump your clocks up a bit then i bet you can get a damn decent score.

I've tried OCing. My mobo, or my RAM just don't seem to like it :( anything above an increase of 3Mhz on my CPU and the PC fails to boot, without exception... Need a better Mobo but just havn't gotten around to it :P The RAM is brandless too :D

We mean the clocks on your GPU, try out MSI Afterburner.

Oh I just used the maximum clocks on Overdrive haha :P I'll give it a go. What's the best way to test for stability because reaching an OC limit is something I havn't had a real chance to do :P And I don't exactly call my CPU OC attempt "reaching a limit"

Just bump up the OC a little bit and run the benchmark, if it finishes then you're stable enough for this contest.

If you want to test long term stability then uncheck benchmark and check stability on Furmark and the test will run until you stop it, you could test stability for a week straight if you wanted to...
