Water_Hazard Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Haz, maaaan ...i know you can squeek just a tad moe outta thos gtx's and break 24000 !! Oh yea! As soon as I figure out what is wrong with my AC these things are getting the torture treatment. i7 at 4.5 and cards at atleast 950/1900/4400 is my goal. With my house getting up to 84f though, any higher is just not possible. Plus I need to change out the thermal paste on one of my 480s. It was hitting 12c higher than the other, even before I put the second card in.

xchrissypoox Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 What am I doing wrong here? This is a 5970! That looks correct, it'd probably be a lot higher overclocked, I get 7518 with my 5870 when its set to 5970 clocks so your was about a 60% increase over that . My computer gets around 9000 when my 5870 is at stock speeds (my cpu is set pretty slow at 3.8Ghz including Turbo Boost)

Nyt Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 My new MSI GTX480 at 850, 1700 and 2150 score: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/furmark_score_180.php?id=cf9695298f4421cffcf9ee9799240744 12418 isn't too bad on this slow 3.2 cpu. Shouldn't the HD5970 be classified as dual since it is dual gpu's ?
joel.monteiro Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 i dont think this benchmark depends on ur cpu.
