Freeder Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I've been doing some mad searches for this item and found some interesting details: -it weighs 10grams less than the XP-120 -it has the same dimensions as the XP-120, L110 x W125 x H63 (mm) (w/o fan) but is design to fit almost ALL boards since the fins are elevated more. -it costs ~$39.99, $10 less than the XP-120 -and most importantly, it only suffers slightly in temp readings: ~+.5 c warmer than the XP-120!!! And thats with a smaller fan of 92mm than 120mm. By all means, i'mma gonna git dis.

snipermav Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Looks like a good deal to get make sure it has good cfm. err...How could one make sure that a heatsink has good Cubic Feet per Minute? I'm guessing he means get a fan that pushes a lot of air.

ccokeman Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Same here but at 3600 rpm. It seemed to be the sweet spot till it developed a bad vibration.
oralpain Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 (edited) when all else fails watch your fingers so you hit the right keys in the right order To hell with taht. Looks like a good heatsink though. The XP-120 won't fit on my board, maybe the 90 will. Edited September 20, 2004 by oralpain
