PSU - For low end system

Hey guys, you see the system in my sig? (Current)

 

The power supply is wacking out, i turn my computer off, and then it wont start again, if i unplug one of the 4 pin molex connectors, then it starts.. really weird

 

Its 350W nSpire... ? is that even a real brand.. anyway, its a cheap PSU i picked up for like 20 bucks (CAD) at a local shop, so its time to get a new one, seeing as my pc is becoming unreliable...

 

Any low end PSU's you guys can recomend?

Get something high end and then stick it in your new build. Your NF3 will love it :nod:

I would not recommend a low end PSU for any system.

Actually, it really depends on which way you go with a new build. If you are keeping the existing system the way it is and just want to keep it running, then get a quality 400+ watt PSU for that. Click on the link in my sig to find a PSU that is right for you.

 

If you decide to rebuild the current system you have (i.e. swapping out the components), then purchase a high power, good quality system; which is also listed in the link in my sig.

Yeah, anything in the 350 to 450 range should do for that rig.

 

Have you picked a PSU for the new rig yet?

For your old system a 350W+ Antec, Enermax or Fortron should be fine. :nod:

Thanks guys! Ill take antec truepower II psu, between 400-500 wattage

 

As for the new build, ive chosen the OCZ 520W PSU, looks sweet, with adjustable rails and everything wudya think?

If its the Power Stream yes, its on the list of premium sli native 24-pin ATX molex.
