p0tter Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 With all the hype, awesome reviews and support DFI has been getting with the NF3 and NF4 being the top o/c mobo, has sales increased alot ? Anyone hear any figures or anything, just wondering. All my friends that loved Asus and MSI are switching over. I personally have build 4 DFI systems for friends. GO DFI ! ! ! red930 Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 Just take a look at the increase in forum membership. Remember that forum members are here looking for information and guidance. Think of all the users that never have a problem and make their way here and actually register. I could have built all of my rigs by simply lurking and absorbing the information. You'll never get official numbers from DFI since that kind of information is usually considered "confidential sales data". You may find one of the marketing people throwing numbers around but that info must be viewed with a skeptical eye. If the MSI, DFI and ABit reps all said they were #1, which would you believe?
davidhammock200 Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 I would say that sales have to be up, as everyone recommends the DFI N4's as the #1 OC'er!
Mott13 Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 Yeah and that rep started with the nfII line...I remember looking for a new xp mb and most everywhere I looked they pointed me to the DFI lpb/infinity... It's good to see that the rep has continued and no doubt Ill be going dfi when I move to nf3/4:)

OceanSeasforMe Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 I am now a DFI convert also. This build is for the boss (we are a team of two) and I only used ASUS or Intel boards when building in the past. This PC I build from scratch and its a decent PC a year or so later. D875PBZ board with a 2.6/P4 and a radeon9200se 1gig ddr400 and its satisfied my needs till now..... But thanks for ruining me and taking me to a new level. I have to have/build a DFI board for myself now and I am looking forward to it. Arrr ~! (All good pirates close with arr.) Smoken Joe Posted May 15, 2005 Posted May 15, 2005 I was expecting to go to DFI after the performance of the other nforce boards. I just did not see a reason to upgrade untill they went to socket 939. This is by far one of the most impressive boards I have used even without the great overclocking. I would not be suprised if I kept this rig for more than a year which would be pretty uusual for me.
