I no at the start of the war it was said ok for me to use the pc5300 I had, but I'm having problems with it, and I have some issues with the g.skill in the p5e, after a crash I have to boot of a single ddr800 stick then it takes forever to get the 2 sticks of g.skill to boot, so I'm trading it. Yeah Ray said he has no probs with it, the extra ram speed is negated by other factors like having to use 400 strap I can't run it any higher speed than I was and with the g.skill I was using 4-4-4-8 for benching, doubtfull that will change either. all my scores will have to be final at this point...my 3870X2 card died this morning. opening any 3D app caused an instant hard lock up. it had a good run and will soon be off to Sapphire for a replacement.
