For anyone who took part last year, the Forum Wars competition will be familiar.

It is hosted by the Raptor Pit Forums and this will be the third year it has run.

There is more detailed information over at TRP:

What is Forums Wars?

Forum Wars Rules

GEIL USA MEMORY will sponsor this event.

Maximum PC will be a major Sponsor as well...

Included will be some very nice memory & Maximum PC subscriptions to being given away by random drawing during the War.

You can enter yourself for the OCC team HERE

The initial phases run from June 29th - July 27th* (posting of scores under stock clocks [Ends July 20th*] and organisation of teams)

The competitive WAR phase runs from July 28th - Aug 18th* (Overclocking to get the best scores possible)

*cutoff for the submissions is 11:59 CST US&Mexico on the last days of each time period

Scoring will take place in This Thread.

Any questions or discussion can now be kept to this thread.

You may also find members from the other forums competing popping up in here for some friendly banter ;)

I also encourage any friendly taunting on the other forums taking part

It'll help to get that competition atmosphere going -

You guys have some nice rigs over there also.

Howdy Flew! The Abit boards have done alright for me so far. I think the OCC will put together a better showing than last year. The quality of the systems here has increased this past year.

yeah i've been an avid abit fan since my IC7-g and the P4 3.2EE still going strong in my Daughters PC

with the sudden drop in conroe prices i may pick up a E6700 to put in the AW9D Max board .... man i loved that board but 88's and SLI meant a change

Dont Mind Ray ..... we're just gonna drop the hammer down on him again this year

I'm thinking about jioning in the fun, but the only problem is that I'm not finished upgrading my system yet. There's still a few things to do on the cooling as well as a new vidoe card, with any luck a 8800 640 GTS is coming soon.
