sdy284 Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 sorry for this poll coming out late, i was rather busy this weekend & the OCC poll slipped my mind This poll will still end on March 18th
ClayMeow Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I really don't care, but since I have dual-raptors, I voted WD
LoArmistead Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I have a raptor in my main rig and I'm more than happy with it, but most of the drives I've bought have been seagates, with only one dying (almost 9 years old) recently. So, I voted Seagate.
road-runner Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 (edited) I have several 36gb Raptors in some of my high end P4s or they used to be high end. A 74gb in my main rig right now. I have several of the older W.D. in folding rigs also. So I voted WD Edited March 14, 2007 by road-runner
Makaveli Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 2/3 drives in my rig are WD and I'm more than happy with them. WD FTW!
Kash Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I have Raptors, but for the average hard drive, I would stick with Seagate.

Waco Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Seagate and Hitachi have been getting my money recently. The only WD drive I'd consider is the Raptor.

Silverfox Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Seagate for me because they will replace drives quickly. Like WD too, they will replace a drive if it gets a bit whiney too. Love em
Verran Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I used to use IBM. Then Hitachi took their HDD program over, so I started buying Hitachi. But lately I've started to realize that Seagate has a better warranty, so I've switched for most of my recent drives and I haven't been let down.
