road-runner Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 1.42, same version that you're running. That's why I'm confused. Version 1.
Bleeble Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Just redownloaded 1.42 from cpuid.com, same thing. Why is mine different from everyone elses?
kingdingeling Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Does it change when you change the voltage in your BIOS?
Bleeble Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Does it change when you change the voltage in your BIOS? *Glances at Intel mobo* Change voltages? *chuckle* Â Hopefully I'll have my Blood Iron on Friday. I'll see if it changes then. I wasn't really concerned, just curious.

Thought the same, but my P5B-E doenst do it.... I neglected to mention it earlier, but I'm currently running on an Intel DG33TL. You guys might be right about it being the chipset though. This Windows installation is really messed up anyway. Apart from the standard bloat-accumulation, I swapped mobos from 965P to G33 without uninstalling old drivers or anything. I'm just waiting for a new mobo so I can get a fresh install of XP, maybe I'll even dual-boot Vista since I've got a legit copy sitting around. kingdingeling Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 That's exactly what I did when I first switched to the Blood Iron, but it worked (temporarily)
hardnrg Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 the VID changes if you have power-saving enabled on the CPU
road-runner Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Quad #4, L740B216, VID 1.325, ClubIT OEM. Testing it out now, it seems to run cooler than the others with that VID. Looks like I am going to get about 3650 unlapped and unlapped Ultra Extreme 120.
