Welcome to the OCC kingfisher! You mentioned that you wanted to build a new rig... What's the price range we're dealing with here? Also, are you looking to create an AMD system, Intel system, or no preference?

Hey Thanks Guys!

 

Good to see so many Brits onboard :P

 

With respect to the new rig (and I realise that this isn't the forum for this, so have kicked off a thread in the motherboard forum), I guess I am looking at a good Athlon XP based system.

 

Hell, I don't need a top of the range rig - just look where I'm coming from :D !!!

 

So value for money, life extendability and more memory seems to be the way.

(I'm after mobo, mem, cpu and graphics card).

AXP eh?

 

Abit NF7 (?) is your best bet methinks - either that or an asus k7n8x-e (?) (i'm not up to speed on axp boards anymore :P)
