hardnrg Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 you'll need to get some crazy . speed memory for that... faster than 3200 if you want to oc anyway... (get a job, always handy for money )

InvaderTrax Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 You'll want at least PC3700 to OC with. PC4000 if you're real serious

Nuclear Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Who says you need high speed RAM to OC? The fastest RAM I've ever used was my newly acquired OCZ PC3700 EB. Normally I use only PC3500, but never that high-speed, slack timings stuff...I learned my lesson about it
hardnrg Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 mmm, faster timings and faster speed than generic pc3200 is what i meant... and ocz falls under the "crazy-." classification in my book
kurosen Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 PC3200 Geil works fine for me at 200 FSB X 12.5 multi on rig in sig.... Hey, that rhymed B) Note: I keep it at 2.45 gHZ because I have to push the vCore a lil more to get the 2.5 which isn't that much better as far as I can see in real world testing on my rig...
