Ziggy54354 Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 did u remember to lock the agp/pci freqs?
Agallion Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 yea i locked my agp(66mhz) i dont think theres a pci though
Newport Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 Well if you dont lock down that PCI, then anything over 36-39 mhz is gonna kill that pci. They cant operate very far from the stock 33 mhz..... If you cant find a lock for it in your Bios, then i think that either they are locked already or they cant be locked... What Mobo you running? lorne Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 That is why, that board doesn't like to go over 195 FSB. Try dropping FSB to 195.

char1ie Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 I have got the asus deluxe board, and I don't know how to lock my AGP settings. There is a menu for AGP frequency, and if I take it off of auto, what should I set it at?
Agallion Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 agp frequency should be 66mhz
GTSticky Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 not an AMD overclocker myself, but I do know that GEIL RAM likes more volts than that. It's probably the CPU or board like they say though.
