dling Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Have any of you owned a deck kb? I want to know if the backlite is very bright. I like a brightlight
dling Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) Or any suggestions for a good keyboard with bright back light Edited November 6, 2015 by dling
dr_bowtie Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Steelseries Merc Stealth is pretty bright. It has three settings. bright is way too bright for me. I usually keep it on low
dling Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I'll take a look at it. Thanks
dling Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 It's way to much as far as the keys go. Just a basic 108 key count is good for me
bp9801 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 The Deck keyboards are really quite good. They've been on my list for a while, but just never got around to getting one. The CM Storm keyboards have a good backlight, nice and bright. Corsair, too. If you just need a no nonsense keyboard with a backlight, Deck or Code are good options. Ducky, too. dling Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Well I just walked out of Micro Center with the CM trigger Z. Hope its what I want as far as the brightness of the backlite is concerned.
dling Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 very nice keyboard, would like to be a bit brighter but its bright enought. I really like the feel of the board its self. Kinda like a rubberized feel. Thanks for the suggestions.
BluePanda Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 out of ALL the keyboards I've never had a deck... My favorite is still the Novatouch TKL -- no back lighting though
dling Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I would like to have tried a deck but couldn't find one in a local store and my ducky had died. It's going to take me some time to get used to the cherry switches being their quite a bit louder.
RHKCommander959 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 rubber keycap o-rings will quiet them down! It doesn't take that long and cuts the noise down a ton. Also if you learn to touch type instead of pushing the keys down all the way its quiet, but the rubber o-rings help if you push them down all the way like I do. ducky has some really bright mechanical keyboards, I have a shine and at full brightness it almost hurts to look at lol
