BluePanda Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Mike...why don't you just drive that up the road and share the wealth there? Sweet card!
Waco Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Nice review Mike! I'd still go with an XFX DD card from Newegg for $100 less if I was buying today though. But daaaaaaaaaaayuummm...1.3 GHz core clock.
El_Capitan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 All my HD 7970's could hit 1300MHz Core Clock at 1.3V's. My latest one, though, 1270MHz Core Clock at 1.2V's... so not that impressed on that front. Still, I love the look of the Matrix cards and the quietness of their fans. You must pick up the best cards on the east coast as none of the 10+ I have looked at will pass my benchmark suite anywhere close to that clock speed. Sure I can pass most of the tests but none make it all the way through. 1300Mhz is a pretty stout number to be sure.

El_Capitan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Bah! Well, I get lucky in the GPU department, but not the CPU department. Still can't get my two that are in Xfire at 1300MHz when they can get there on their own.
