im looking forward to seeing the fact and not fiction thats been out there on Bulldozer. Im encouraged that AMD has made big improvements in their GPUs recently and Im hoping they are going to make equal improvements in their CPU's. Heres hoping.!

I thought that the 7000 series would be a new architecture to match Bulldozer but its just a revised one of the 6000 series and its built on 28nm, lets hope its good!

Can't wait to see bulldozer in shops :)

Need a quick decision, as i'm looking at motherboards, and i've found an ASRock P67 Extreme 4 for £117, but they only have one left. Question is, out of the Extreme 4, and the ASUS P67 Pro, which is the less troublesome board. At the minute, the only thing i like about the ASUS is the colour scheme, everything else, the Extreme 4 seems to have, except for bluetooth, i think, which i'm never going to use.

Price wise, cheapest i've found the ASRock was £131, until i found it for £117. The P67 Pro is going for about £140.

Hey guys. Sorry i havn't been on in a while.

Just thought i'd give you an update on how things are going. I've changed some of the parts of i was going to order around a little.

I've got my CM 690II Advanced, Corsair HX750, Asrock P67 Extreme4, 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance, 64gb Crucial RealC300 SSD, Samsung 1tb F3 Spinpoint, LG Blu-ray rom, CM 212+, I5 2500k, and Sapphire HD 6950 Dirt3 Edition.

Accessories are: Razer Deathadder, Microsoft SideWinder X4 and Creative HS800 Fatal1ty headset.

All i'm waiting for to arrive now, is the CPU, Cooler, and Windows 7. Should be looking to build it over next weekend. I'll get some pictures for you, as i do.

Can't believe how big the 6950 is. It's HUGE!! I'm sure it fits in the 690II though.

Thanks for your help, everyone.

Looks like a nice machine, woulda got a larger SSD though. That's gonna be a handful

Do you think? I was thinking of giving that one to my mate, and getting the 128gb. But, 64gb is still enough for the OS and a favourite game, isn't it? I'm going to be a little strapped for cash over the following weeks, as i build up my collection of PC games that i've been dieing to get. So a larger SSD will have to wait, for now.

Yeah. You're right about the SSD. Damn near used up half of it already, with just the OS, and some other bits on it.

Here she is. Got her built over the weekend. One at the minute, vital component that i forgot to get, was the wifi card. I've ordered one now. Should be here tomorrow. I ordered Metro 2033, and GTA IV: CE, and i couldn't play them because i needed the internet to install them. Haha! Oh well.

Here's some pictures for you.
