One of the points of Skyrim is to explore. :P Can't just fast travel to everything. However, Bethesda did make it so dragons do appear when fast traveling though.

Can be annoying, all I wanted to do was sacrifice Lydia for a god quest and boom Blood Dragon comes outa nowhere after I fast travel from breezehome. Need to spend the next while firing arrows and dodging fire because the bloody thing wont land.

I know it is but the way I hoard and sell I'd never get to where I need to goto sell my stuff without checking out every new place I see and then gathering more goodies to sell/keep. So i jump between main towns but other then that I don't used it haha, I've been trying to use it less though

You could just, you know, not loot every single piece of cabbage and iron sword you find. :P

Nah, I'm getting snobby. Nothing Iron gets to touch my inventory anymore :nono: (it's starting to get that way with most of the steel collection too, they're "not worth my encumbrance" lol)

As for the cabbage, I've found food to be quite useless to ever pick up, even when you make your own meals....there are potions that have a FAR higher health/stamina replenishment/weight ratio then food you can find or cook. I may eventually get a mod to make food actually matter (maybe a realistic "must eat to survive" mod similar to the hardcore mode in the FO:NV which was very well implemented and ensured the player had to have a little of everything to survive)

What annoys me is arrows, they can have a value of 1 but then you goto sell them and they'll be like, "I'll gladly take these for free and if you want them back you'll have to play double or more for each arrow" lol

Ok, so I uninstalled Skyrim and deleted all of my mods, got all the updated version and some new ones, and reinstalled everything. Started a new game with max settings for everything and it looks amazing. Love my new 670. Only see drops to like 57fps at the lowest.

Little old (week or so), but some looks at Dawnguard courtesy of PC Gamer.

First article.

Vampire Lords:

You turn into this dude.

You can then turn into a swarm of bats to dodge attacks.

You can fly. And hover.

You can “bite people and suck their health and kill them” to open up new perks.

You can summon gargoyles.

You get a “vampiric gripping-people-and-throwing-through-the-air” move

New dragon shout: Soul Tear. This “lets you rip the souls out of other people, then you collect their soul, and then they become your undead minion.”

Dawnguard:

You’ll do more “crafting and exploring” on the Dawnguard side of things.

You can wield crossbows. TWHUNK!

You can wear really sweet armour.

You can “have your own armoured troll.” Howard sadly did not elaborate on this, except to say “‘scool.”

Werewolves:

You get a new perk tree that revolves around mauling enemies. The more you maul, the more you move up the tree. Howard explained that Bethesda have added the tree to help werewolves keep up with high level characters. Here are some abilities spotted on the tech tree.

Bestial Strength: do 25% more damage as a werewolf

Totem of Terror: Werewolf Howl of Terror affects even higher level enemies.

Animal Vigor: 100 point bonus to health and stamina in beast form.

Gorging: Feeding heals twice as much health.

Here are some other abilities that are named but not detailed.

Totem of Ice Brothers

Totem of the mace

Totem of the Predator

Savage Feeding

And also:

You can return to Oblivion to explore the “Soul Cairn.” That’s a big, glowing purple dimension that we’ve seen in recent screenshots.

Dawnguard will add “ten to 20 hours of new content.”

There will be new crafting recipes for Dragonbone weapons, which will be more powerful than Daedric ones. “You can craft crossbow bolts.”

Many of the ideas for Dawnguard came about during the Skyrim game jam that Todd Howard highlighted at DICE 2012.

There will probably be Snow Elves. Some files for these were spotted hidden away in recent Skyrim patches. “Errrrrrm,” said Todd Howard when asked about them. “There’s a lot of things in the DLC. We don’t want to spoil anything"

Second article with video.

You gotta join them just to play both sides :)

Or those people that advance into the wearewolf skill tree and really like that.

Nah, I'm not seeing how a Werewolf comes close to one of those! (and I'm probably going to become a Werewolf pre-Dawnguard since I see no downsides)

Of you haven't been a wearewolf yet and haven't properly read the extras they are getting that make them even more powerful then it is understandable.

If you play a character that is based on rushing into close range combat then werewolf is awesome especially feasting because the health and stana regen is mad and adding an extra 100points to each is cool as
