I'm planning to buy a new aircooler for my q6600 to OC it to 3,6 ghz. Atm I'm planning to buy a coolermaster v8 cpu cooler, Actually I was planning to buy the Noctua NH-D14 first, but then I saw a compability list that it did not fit my evga 750i sli mobo.

So I'm wondering if the v8 cooler is the right cooler to get my q6600 to 3,6ghz stable without any crashes.

I'm also buying a new case for my comp, Cooler Master HAF 932 Big Tower.

I hope I get some fast replys cause I'm ordering soon. Thx ^^

Get the Thermaltake Frio or Cooler Master V6GT if u have the money,Frio is better.

Thanks for the fast reply, I will maybe order Thermaltake Frio now, money is not a problem btw. I would like to see more replys on what cooler I should get.

Btw are you sure Thermaltake Frio fits my mobo cause the chipset thing is pretty high on the 750i mobo, so I thought it can maybe crash.

From what I've been reading, the two tower design is what gets the D14 it's awesome cooling power, so you may want to look into more two-tower designs like that.

Edit: the Cogage arrow looks kinda cool, and keeps up with the D14 from the reviews I've read, and can have 3 fans on it. May want to see if that will clear your board.

From what I've read it trades blows with the D14, so i dunno about that...

As the heat load rises the Megahalems does better and better against the competition (at least from the reviews I read). It's what made me choose it over the Noctua.

:withstupid: when it comes to heavy heat generation the Mega really starts standing apart from the best.
