New Build Just Arrived

My NB runs at like 32 degrees on the Crosshair. I was going to get the H50 to get my 1055T stable at 4GHZ but I decided 3.5GHZ was enough so Im ordering a HD5970. The HAF932 looks nice in black inside . Just out of curiosity , why did you choose the Blue Edition ? It doesnt suite the red mobo,etc. Mine looks awsome fully in red with all components also red . Mine will looks good with the Red 5970. Your cable management probably will look better than mine since mine looks like a factory ! The 200mm fans are dead slow . So if you plan on oc'ing anything then I suggest replacing all the fans with high 2000rpm ones.

CFM is more Important than rpm,and also one fan is better than having two, reduces noise

Nyt Ryda - Beats me why I chose that one, I guess that my previous case was blue leds I kinda like that one when I saw it, did not like the all Red one and I wasn't really thinking about color schemes. Lets see how this blue leds and red inside looks once is finished and on. I also think that all blue or red would look kinda of funky, personally i think there should be a mixed of colors.

Here are the picks for installing my H50 into the crossfire iv formula.

 

First was removing the black plastic in front of the mb and then replacing the back plate. One thing i will have to say is that the hole in the back of the case for replacing the original plate is not align therefore I had to kinda remove all the screws of the motherboard lifted then take out the old one and place the new one. I guess that the folks from the Cooler Master would have the make that hole a bit bigger downward to be able to see the bottom 2 screws for replacement.

 

 

I went with the pull/push set up on the H50. Chose a cooler master SickleFlow 120mm 2000 RPM blue led fan (tested it and could not hear the thing) using this one to pull air and kept the one that came with the H50 to use it as a push.

 

Mounted the Pump of the H50 first;

 

Then since I did not want to remove the 140mm blue led that the Haf 932 came with on the back I had to improvise, I went to the front of the case and installed the pull/push set up of the H50 Rad.

This is what I use to held it in place.

And here how it looks finished.

 

So there I have installed for the first time a pull/push H50 set up from the front of the case, I do not know if this would work but what the heck, its worth a try.

There was a small problem on the black plastic hooks of the case, since the hd-5850 is big can not completely close those little plastic hooks to cover the screw of the add on card, but that is no biggie, it is really the cards fault, look;

 

Well now I think I finished installing everything. All I have to do now is the cable management part into the mb, once done will post a pick of the final product.

 

oh, on the H50 pump I connected to the CPU Fan Case. And the pull fan from the Rad I connected it to the power fan on the mobo. please correct me if I do anything wrong, thank you all.

For the 5850, just lift up the plastic clips on the rear of the case and use two screws to hold it in place. It'll be much stronger if the clips don't cover it completely.

 

Other than that, it looks to be good so far. The rad mount for the H50 is interesting but should work out fine. I take it the CM fan is pulling in air from the front and the Corsair fan is pushing it all into the case?

That is exactly correct, funny thing was that had just the right amount of line length to just reached to the front.

Kinda of late for that now, almost ready to hit the power button, just a few more cable rerouting and rdy to go.

Well guys finally finished putting together my new rig;

 

Cable management finalized;

 

Then I went and got a fire extinguisher just in case it blew up on power on,

But did not need to use it, all turned on well with the mobo, and leds on Mobo were all ok,

 

 

Few picks on how it looks on;

with panel and in the dark picks;

 

Now for the performance part of the build. System seems ok, here are the picks of the voltage and temps on the BIOS, do not like the NB one but the documentations says is ok and the led on the mobo is green, you guys lets me know if I have to do the NB fix.

 

Voltages;

 

Temps at start:

 

Temps after 24 hours Idle;

 

The Cpu has not gone above 34c, the NB is currently at 46 and the SB at 37. This is all at stock and idling, do not know if that is good to start Ocing.

All the temps look fine. I don't think you should have any problems at all.
