HAF 932 Watercooling Ideas

Hey Guys-

I feel like I've spent a million dollars on my rig in the last 3 months but I really want to do WC and not spend to much greenery.

What do you guys recommend for me in a HAF 932?

It will not be heavily OC'd and I will not need too extreme of a set up. I was just thinking of doing CPU cooling now and maybe down the road the 5850 ;)

Should I piece one together, buy a kit, or better yet does anyone have old parts/kits laying around to sell?

Thanks OCCrs

Just bought a 922 for the wife so I can get my custom painted case back from her but I will be taking the water cooling out of that and putting it in the 922 or I have a water cooling kit coming up from Cyberpower PC that is just way to cool to pass up.

What I have in the Stacker 830 is

DD D5 Vario pump

Swiftech Apogee GTZ

Swiftech MCr 220

Swiftech Mini Res

DD Full cover block for her GTX 260

This keeps the temps under 60C with a mild 3.6Ghz OC running F@H on the CPU and GPU!

The 922 has the holes drilled for mounting the Rad already on the top panel so I will be mounting it there.

Not to thread jack but do you have any pics of that setup ccokeman. I have the same case and cant decide where to put my rad. I don't have any space behind the case as my desk is just barely wide enough for the case itself.

I will have to say you could probably air cool as well for cheaper. The rad is to small and the pumps are not the best.

I will look and see if I can find some. But since she only has one optical drive and HDD I mounted them up in the top two drive slots and then put the rad in the rest of the bays. I uses some angle brackets mounted to the fans to hold the rad in. Pretty slick setup.

Found it! This is while leak testing so its not a tidy as it can be but it works. Fans are pushing air in from the front.

Also this is before I replaced the tubing with Red Primochill tubing and upgraded her to an i7 920. Using Fluid XP that has not yet changed in color or clogged the block.

I quoted a Water-cooling system for my friend a while ago. IT was an all swiftech set-up like Ccokeman is depicting.

It was only about 280 bucks and is basically the same set-up as mine. See my Rolling mod log. Im about to post some pics of Rev. 3.0........ enjoy.

Oh and I recommend piecing it together. You get what you want and along with that you can specify the components you want. But if you do get a Kit the one a Petra has good components.

The D5 , rad and block I use will set you back a bit less than 2 bills. I used 1/2' tubing I got from lowes on the build I show in the picture above for about 4 bucks add 8 bucks for clamps and you should still be under 2 Benjamins
