Boinker Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) I guess I do and Have in the past called myself a freak of nature, maybe its cause im always bord no matter what, I am possibly crazy, but I am almost certain that is due to the drive I have to get the performance, object, reaction, or just the look on your face that I want. Hard work has been put into my computers in the past, see work logs below, but this one turned out to be one varient of this case that I am perticularly provd of. Its been water cooled with a swiftech rad and pump, and enzotech block, all 1/2 inch blue tubing, duel bay res, 3 scyth fans, and a scyth fan controller to operate them. Just got done testing and prime95'n it and stable as can be below 40c. Here are some pictures for all. enjoy... Questions comments concerns please post it. P.S. Frozen CPU sent me the wrong hose clamps. Redneck clamps shall have to do. Edited December 11, 2009 by boinker
scr4wl Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Looks good. Wish my case could fit my rad.
ccokeman Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Nice job there! What bay res is that? I nned to find a decent one that does not leak for my Mountain mods build
Boinker Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Thanks T hunter anc ccoke. Cokeman: That is a nice res but its got its own interesting issues to go with it. the problem that is the bigest I would say is that the res has no dampers or redirecting channels to assist in the bleeding precess. It does well and for the most part I belive all the air is out of the system minus the rad may have some present in it still. give me a while and I will find the make of my res for you. Ccoke: found it, its a "XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir - Black" enjoy. Edited December 11, 2009 by boinker

Boinker Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) nice pic dude, i am gettin ready to do min soon. i am actually going today to buy some stuff. Thanks a bunch for the reply. but here is my two cents on how I did it. If i were you I would not do it like I did. I looked at it after I was done and I realized that instead of mounting the water pump inside the harddrive bays I could have mounted it on the other side of the bays pump inlet facing the power supply and outlet going straight upward into the rad. to make even more sense I could have mounted a up and down mounted cylinder type res. it would make the set-up completly removable from the case without exstensive disassembly. trust me. there is plenty of room to do it and It would look alot better and not take up all the bays in the hard drive rack. There I go Critisizing myself AGIAN. rofl Edited December 12, 2009 by boinker

CheeseMan42 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Nothing wrong with those clamps. I felt much safer putting those on mine than those little plastic ones.
bishop245 Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 he just wishes he would have made his system loops a bit easier for disassembly but yea it looks good and works so its his personal prefs gettin in his way

Boinker Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) Ordered some blue g12 pentesin die-lube, new biocide, new Clear tubing, some lights and a few extra goodies from petra tech shop today. Hey bishop..... when shall the madness Take place??? ROFL. Edit: The only reason I say is because I think I have a small ecosystem growing inside there. dispite using biocide, but apparently it did not operate as its disigned. But it still works ok.. doing Prime95 at 3.70 right now and im 30 minutes in. Hopefully it will work out and I can start heading to 3.80 stable.
