The example components are a core i7 860 and two 4870x2s. It's too small for two dual GPU video cards and a CPU, plus it has extremely high density fins, so you need faster fans for it. Unloaded temps would be anywhere from 0 to 10*C cooler and loaded temps wouldn't go up more than maybe (on the setup I had it was about 10*C) 15*C. Puck Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Both i7's and 4870X2s are VERY hot and should not be ran on the same loop. I would run them on two seperate loops, or just run that loop on the CPU and leave the 4870X2 air cooled - they don't overclock well anyway. Can someone show me a system that can cool better for a similar price or less? Or can anyone give me a guide about choosing WC parts? If not, can you make one?
