supergeek101 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 As long as CoD4 and MW2 like crossfire, I will be OK =]. And you'll get that report
Waco Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Get a 4890, performs the same as a 4870X2, is 20x less power hungry, and it's new... Uh, not really. The 4890 is slower in nearly everything by about 40% and it uses a little over half of what a 4870X2 does.
supergeek101 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) The 4870x2 came in today, and I gotta say... It eats my 4890 alive. And the price is crazy too. When I bought it (returned now due to waterblock incompatibility), it cost me $200 + 7% tax in NJ. That's around $214, I got the 4870x2 for $240 shipped flat, I think I got a killer deal Edited October 14, 2009 by supergeek101

ccokeman Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 4870x2's are not to bad in games they scale well in. When you have not Crossfire support it can be miserable.
