spectrascope Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Which board DFI LANPARTY DK 790FX-M2RS AM2+ 790FX or GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-DS4H AM2+ 790GX for max OC plus crossfire PSU available pc&p 750 crossfire edition
MrAlex Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 The DFI since it uses the 790FX chipset, mainly for crossfire as well, since that's what you wanted? I expect no difference in OC?
Krieg1337 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 DFI is kinda like the king of OC'ing. Only for experts though, not noobs. Noobs would HATE DFI's, but expert OC'ers love DFI
synchronize Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Indeed DFI boards are great for overclocking, i still got my lanparty SLi-D and it's probably the most fun i've ever had with OC'ing. I personally don't like gigabyte boards so i would say go for the DFI.

IVIYTH0S Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I hate DFI but gigabyte is no better I say get an ASUS bahahahaaahahaaahahahahahaaaa my gigabyte poops on all my old asus's. (then again it's the highest model so it's an unfair comparison) but if the gigabyte was cheaper, I'd get the gigabyte
Kingfisher Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 ECS is better than any of them and so is AsRock but the best motherboard evar is..... Seriously , either board maker each gets great reviews. I'm with IVIYTHOS on pricing principle , whichever is cheaper.
IVIYTH0S Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 i actually heard somewhere (yes heard not confirmed) that the Biostar Tpower is the best p45 out right now, or atleast I heard it obtained the highest FSB. Really 90% of all board manufacturers are great companies, just get the one that best suits your price range, usually the one's priced in the middle of all the rest are the best deal. The lower priced ones might not clock as high and the high priced ones may have features that you don't really need.
