redtigerdragon Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Ok, so I am planning on getting a new build soon. I Want a case that will give me good airflow, but don't want to spend a paycheck on it. I usually buy Apevia for around $80. Just need some experienced opinions on the matter. maj0rgamer Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) the antec 900 case can be had for around $100 or less. excellent airflow and it seems to be built for liquid cooling add-ons as well if you like that sort of thing. redtigerdragon Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I'm a greenhorn so dabbling with liquid isn't something i feel i am up for quite yet. I think i should probably stick with air cooling for now (add in the fact that I have little room in my budget for liquid).
maj0rgamer Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 i agree...liquid cooling isn't for me either, atleast at the moment. with something like the antec 900 it really isn't needed anyway
Kuronin Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) I am going to say, Thermaltake Spedo Coolermaster HAF 932 Tagan A+ El Diablo Advance Antec 900 or 1200 (overrated if you ask me) And then there is that one weird case with that fan the size of the entire door, not sure what it's called. *EDIT* Oh yea, forgot about the NZXT Tempest the "Airflow King" More to your Budget, I present the ThermalTake M9 (good if you want to spend a few bucks on extra fans) And the almighty tried and true Coolermaster 690 I have a Ultra Aluminus and it's nice too. I am sure all of those cases are fantastic, but I just can't justify paying more than 100 for a case (at least not now, maybe when i move up the corporate ladder I'll go wild). maj0rgamer Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 you could always buy something cheap and modify it to your liking...but unless you already have the equipment to do so and after paying for materials, it would probably be cheaper to just buy a decent case already made. what's your case budget? Kuronin Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) Check my edit ^ This is the case I was talking about, pushes 250 CFM though. And looks to impress, I don't like cases with doors on them. Doors are bad people. >.> http://www.legitreviews.com/article/843/1/ Edited December 10, 2008 by Kuronin
