Been watching. I'm really excited for this case.

BTW: Pro/E? do you have a link. Looks powerful.

One of the best modeling programs I've used. I don't really like Autodesk Inventor; and haven't tried Solidworks. I once messed with Sketchup and it just wasn't intuitive for me.

I've never used 3DS. Those pics are from the assembly view BTW.

Radodrill, would you mind sharing/uploading your model to rapidshare?

Im really interested in making a custom case, and i LOVE what you did with that one.

Anyway...im all ears.

Thanx a lot mate.

Victor.

I currently don't have a rapidshare account. I can send the models to you through transferbigfiles.com I've got them zipped into a 10.5Mb file.

If you do use some of the parts and put images online (i.e. worklogs etc.), I'd like to receive credit for modeling those parts.

Edit: if you want copies of the models just PM me with your email addy and I'll send it to you through transferbigfiles.com The above still applies; I want to receive credit if anyone uses some of the parts for their own project renderings.

Maybe we should start compiling a database of PC parts rendered in Pro/E; especially since there's one for Sketchup components.

Now for installing the case feet;

Marked the location of the 8 holes

Case-Feet1.jpg

Drilled the holes

Case-Feet2.jpg

Inserted the feet; nice snug fit so no glue necessary

Case-Feet3.jpg

Started the wiring for the LED illumination of the feet

Case-Feet4.jpg

Finished wiring the LEDs

Mounted the fan controller

Now a gallery of the (almost) finished case

I still have to install the CCFLs and H2O items as well as do the custom length wiring (and sleeving) of the fans. Once I get all the hardware into the case I'll do some tidying of the cabling. The one front panel that currently isn't hooked up will be used as eject/activity indicator for the CD drive.

this is coming along nice

gota ask u, do u ever have problems putting it together ? get impatient?

Thanks :D

I always take my time when I'm working on this case; since I don't want to end up re-doing stuff. Any "issues" I've had were very minor; such as a lead having broken off of a resistor (for one of foot LEDs), so I had to replace it.
