You know the old saying " if it aint broke, why fix it!". The original ET is the SH*!*!*!*T to this day. Good luck to all of you trying to dl the beta client. If records goes to show, the servers will be down and most likely password protected like in the past so no one can join. And to no surprise the game will be delayed yet again for another 6-8months after the beta trials. Granted that the DEVELOPER wants to make a great game, but in todays business world the almighty dollar(publisher) will want to get a game out ASAP to make a profit.....my 2 cents. I liked ET, but this is isn't Wolfenstein. second half of your rant = wrong, wrong, and wrong. Servers are up, not password protected (some are, as always, majority are not). 6-8 months is unlikely as the game is nearly done. I guess the subscription is not so bad if you got the cash spare. You got the download speed + they give you a magazine of your choice subscription if you take the better plan! Guest Headwound Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 So I've been playing it for about two days now. So far I'm having a blast. But the mechanics (ie, how the guns feel) is way different for someone who hasn't touched their copy of enemy territory in years. I guess I'm still stuck in Battlefield mode eh? Anyway, the only thing I have a gripe about are the vehicles and perhaps the sniper rifles. They just don't feel like they should. Than BF2 cam out and we all switched to play that! Meanwhile while waiting for the Saturday and the free download of ET:QW I downloaded Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Demo and I have to say that it is not that bad of a game in multiplayer.
