CPDMF Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 guysis there any difference or improvement between the 25/04/06 and 27/08/06 bios have 25/04/06 Yes there is. It will either fix the ULI issue and create another problem or it won't fix the ULI issue and still create another problem.

CPDMF Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Hey Keltic, Your posts are scattered through about 5 different threads and that makes it impossible for anybody to follow your progress and give you any kind of real help. To be honest I'm not real fond of trying to chase people around just to help them out. Rather load BF2 than dig through 5 different threads to see what you have done and what has worked or not worked.. Pick a spot and stick to it. Start a new thread with the problems you have with your computer so we can try to help you out. Be as detailed as possible in the description of your problems, what you have tried and what the results were. Have you done any stability testing and such as the boards are not worth a crap at optimised defaults.. Things like this are things people need to know.. bmorgan98 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I disagree with your statement about not being able to use the ULI chipset for Sata. My boot drive is a 74 GB WD Raptor and it runs on the ULI Sata just fine. I have been running for quite some time without problems.Jason It really only occurs in raid, if you had a second raptor u'd soon know if you have the bug. if you run the uli sata without the raidrom then i think the problem disappears but then there'd be no raid function.
