You'd drain a battery pretty quick using 300 watts at 120 volts. It seems a lot of the parts are exposed, which means you better be in a nice cold air conditioned room. You should get one of those small LCD screens to mount on it. Yes this is a working computer, it is very stable and never had any problem, we always use these systems to any shows that we have. It took us 3 days on building it, but of course only 2 hrs max on those 3 days, since we have to do some work.
