A trip to vegas sounds inticing! thunda was just tellin me about this thread when i called him earlier and I keep telling him he should go. I would probably even join him even though i dont know any of you all yet. But he speaks highly about quite a few people here

 

I think his issues about going would be one of two things: Either too much dust would collect on his car in his absence for him to be comfortable with, or its impractical for him to have his rig not priming for any extended amount of time .... LOL :shake:

Lots of info here so read and understand it before posting your response.

 

Based upon the response, I'll look-up a few buddies that are in the casino

business to see what they can provide. Depending upon how many LEGAL people

attend, they can usually provide some comps and perks to the attendees.

We're already inside their 90 day booking window so it might be tough but it

doesn't hurt to ask. They normally want 40 confirmed bookings before they

agree to anything.

 

Maybe a meeting room setup for a lanparty. Maybe some meal tickets or a nice

private buffet!

 

If we can get enough people to fly they might offer an airline discount

and/or free transportation from and to the airport.

 

So here's the deal. The dates can be flexible but the weekend is out of the

question for any package. Maybe a Sunday arrival and Wednesday departure.

 

It won't be a strip casino unless the response is huge since they want hundreds or thousands or participants. Possibly one of the Boyd properties or

maybe something on Fremont Street.

 

If they can come up with a package I'll post it here. Each individual will

have to call the property and book the package on a credit card or what ever

terms they decide to accept(sometimes a personal check will do but it has to

clear before the deadline). They'll let you know what airlines participate

with them. The dates will be firm and the cancellation fee will be stiff.

 

You guys think about dates like August 13th thru 16th or 20th thru 23rd.

If there's enough response in this thread, I'll make some calls Monday May 15th to get the ball rolling.
