The VC-RF is identical to the VC-RE HSF. The only difference in the VC-RF also comes packaged with BGA heatsinks (for video card RAM). I am really thinking of getting this VC-RE, i just got two new delta fans, 130CFMs each, helping a little. Hope this cooler will, help, with artic 5. Hope this cooler will, help, with artic 5. honestly...if you have to have a couple of Delta fans to stay cool...you got serious problems in that case or in your room or you live in Saudi Arabia in the middle of a desert (and how you get electricity out there is beyond me lol) the chipset is very dependent on two things 1. airflow across it from the front of your case flowing to the rear (ie front fans bringing fresh air in, rear fans exhausting it) 2. hot air coming off your video card (this is probably the biggest factor in chipest temps because of where the chipset is located) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
