Or have DFI come to the conclusion that use of the VC-RE is acceptable considering it is used by the vast majority of DFI owner's and therefore, a highly successful and widely accepted modification? Yeah, basically any mods you do to the board voids the warranty. And...I think I would know this...since I guess I am that guy (the support mgr) and since I have put up tutorials explaining exactly how to do this so you WONT void your warranty... now don't ya feel a little foolish for spreading such nonsense as fact when it is just...nonsense? That is all I was trying to say. heh I wasn't really directing it at you...more to the guy who just knows for sure it voids the warranty as I stated...it does NOT void the warranty to modify the board with just cooling your warranty IS void if you modify the electronics, solder, etc, or if you damage the board in any way while modding it.
