red930 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Does anyone have any insides on this matter why both CORES are not equally strong but one seems to be always weaker then the other? I guess that's what happens when you go DUAL CORE....

rhiridflaidd Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Core 1 fails if it's the core failing. Core 0 fails if my memory is what's limiting my overclock. Interesting eh!
Guest GripS Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I am curios how all of you are determining which core it is that is failing. Sorry if it's already listed somewhere in this forum. I have 1 core that will fail but the other keeps going on strong. Not sure which one it is though.

top game Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 core 0 fails. [email protected]. 1.392 v core. 8 hours dual prime stable.
bcbooter Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 i noticed my core 0 fails first, because i usually start it first . lol and then it will fail.. then core 1 keeps going because there is a. less ram being tested aka less strain on mem controller and ram. b. runs cooler may want to keep these kinds of things in mind when overclocking. try running the core that doesnt seem to fail first etc .. lol
