O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 yea Opera is not bad but I use Netscape also, IE is well bad
d3bruts1d Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 Want to move your IE favorites to Opera? That's easy! Open Opera, click File > Import > Internet Explorer Favorites > browse to the directory where your favorites are stored. Directory usually is C:\Documents and Settings\**user**\Favorites (for 2k... forget for 2k3, 2k5, and xp probably the same tho) Oh and big... you might want to grab one of the IE skins for Opera to use while at work. bigred Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 got that IE skin for it. only issue I'm still running into is how to tell it to open outlook (exchange server at work requires it) instead of it's own email if I click on a required for email. bigred Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 okay, that was just too darn easy! I keep thinking like MS makes you think... look for the least obvious and most complex answer possible.

bishop245 Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 the free version has a banner add that i dont think the pay version does
d3bruts1d Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Ya.. the free version comes with a small banner in the top right of the screen... really isn't noticeable. I've got a license for Opera, but rarely use it... and if you go on the full screen mode of opera, the banner is gone.
