Misled Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 Commodore 64 with the lightning fast C2N cassette unit. Games took a good 20-30 minutes to load. First modem for it was 300 baud. You could actually watch the text roll across the screen.

william488 Posted July 23, 2003 Posted July 23, 2003 I can't remember quite what it was, so I'll give it a shot... 8086 PC 1 mb of RAM 30 Mb Hard drive These may even be high specs that I am getting them confused with another system. ya you prob getting them confused with another system they did not have 30 mb hd with the 8086's. my first computer i owned was a tandy 1000tx, (286) with a big floppy and small floppy, rgb monitor 80 dot pitch with no hard drive, oh, 640k mem. My Ex-Wife's parrents gave me even an older system years latter, it had two-- single sided 5 1/4 floppies, with 64k mem and took AOK DOS, (which i still have). and a green monitor. at the fastest an 8086, but i think it was even older. my next computer was a 386sx 16 with 4 mb ram, 105 mb hd and i upgraded and bought the Massive 1 mb video card, man were all my friends jealous of me! I still have all my games for that system( now converted to cd format, I have about 200-300 games on cd)
