Nuclear Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Hey guys. DeathNote Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Just curious, Why are you selling these parts? Upgrading to something new? If so, what you looking at?
Nuclear Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Just curious,Why are you selling these parts? Upgrading to something new? If so, what you looking at? I have 2 other Phenom II rigs. A 940 BE that clocks better than this one did, and a 955 ES. I also have a 7750 BE and 5050e...so I have quite a few systems to play with. I am a computer engineer and work for a large corporation in hardware design on a contractual basis so I often get my hands on many many systems and ES chips. I have the greatest job in the world! This particular system is going to be replaced by a i7 920 D0 stepping and new X58 board that I'll be beating up over the next few weeks. Nuclear Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 It isn't. This one is an engineering sample. This is what means "ES". Correct. I have many ES chips in my possession and this is the second 955. I still have P4 3.0c ES chips from years ago, I never get rid of them
