OK, well I'm going to resubmit what I had in my photobucket account. (From before the forum loss) All of these are from my Opteron 148 CABNE 0528GPMW, which is now naked and under a DD TDX Brass-Top.

First is 3171.2mhz for SuperPi 1M, as seen here. I'd also like to use this for the suicide list, until I get a chance to cap a better one.

Next I have a 3050.1mhz OCCT 30min, as seen here.

Last I have a 3103.0mhz SuperPi 32M, as seen here.

woa, 3171 SuperPI1M on air, thats MASSIVE! (or was that water already)

yeah... air... that's right.... :P

Nah, that's with the chip swimming in TDX goodness. I really wonder what this thing could do on air though. I never ran it naked with the XP-120, but I'd really like to. I hate to admit it, but with the IHS on, the switch from air to water was hardly even noticable. The water was a fun project and gave me a chance to do some major modding on a level I've never been to before, but I often wonder how much temp gains I really get from water over the XP-120 or a newer HSF like the Ultra-120. I have a feeling this chip could do that same 3171 1M on good air (naked, of course).

suicides are in, I had 3.2, but then it shutdown :(

suicide3170sb5.th.jpg

I also have yet to try anythign above 1.612 Vcore.

Something interesting I noticed with this 3700+, the temps with the IHS on at 3GHz are better than the temps with the IHS off on my old 3700+ (bout a 5C difference).

Could this be due to the fact that I applied AS5 differently this time? Before I only used the blob and squeeze technique, but this time I spread it around?!
