3 as an officer/gun owner how can you not teach your kids about gun safety.

Well in America guns and violence are fine to show your kids, but when you get out . and alcohol, or oh noes boobies, it's instantly shunned. One is human nature(except alcohol) and the other is something that is supposed to be avoided...hmm I think something may have failed in the US there.

I hope he loses a ton of money on this case. If he's awarded anything what little faith I have in humanity will shrink even smaller.

Glocks don't have a manual safety. It should have been holstered and not under the seat in reach of the child that wasn't strapped into his car seat.

Glock definitely needs to redesign their guns, but this is just nuts.

 

First of no one should be suing glock. Suing the poice department that issued a gun without a safety might have been a better argument at the very least. But having your gun that you already know is dangerous around a 3 year old kid is stupid.

Not completely. I don't think Glock needs to redesign their gun thats been working just fine since what...the 70s? And they aren't the only handgun without a manual safety. My XDm is very similar except in addition to the trigger safety it has a grip safety as well. The problem here is, in the words of Ron White, "you can't fix stupid".
