ccokeman Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Video card is there but the challenge is the motherboard/CPU combo. The Maximus VI Formula is a socket 1150 board and you have specified a socket 1155 CPU. They wont work together. The Maximus V Formula is a solid board and will work with the 3770K. If you want the Maximus VI Formula you will need to purchase a socket 1150 processor such as the 4770K. Other than that it looks pretty good! ir_cow Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 well whats your budget? without knowning more I say Corsair AX1200i though a 800watt psu would be more than enough edit: Is they your first build? I ask this and not to be rude but It looks like your picking the most expesive things. There is a lot of parts that aren't so expensive. Of course it's completely reletive, You want the best, usually the highest price things are though not by much.

ir_cow Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Any asus board is good in my book! I guess it depends on if you want the extra features. The only thing I would change from your list is 1866 or 1600 budget memory (CL9/10 rated) and unless you plan on using 2 or more gpus now or in the future, 800watt psu is more than enough. editl: A good brand PSU can handle really any 2 gpus @ 800w rated. d6bmg Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I would definitely suggest you to get a good 240/250/256GB of SSD or if not possible then at least 120/128GB. At your budget you should have a SSD in your system. Other than that, it loos good. (i.e haswell setup)
ir_cow Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 even though you aren't going to ever need 1000watts even with 2 gpus that Coolmaster is a very good PSU from the reviews I found. $200 isn't that bad if you think about what a cheap psu can do to a nice computer. edit: good PSUs are usually $150-200 range, once in a while you can find them on sale for $100-130 though it might be a long wait.
