how do you like that Dell LCD? is it the 20" Widescreen model? (I just bought a Samsung 915N 19" LCD 8ms myself)

I like a lot mi Dell it's a really amazing LCD, yes it's the Dell UltraSharp 20.1" WideScreen 2005Fpw. If you want see more pics go to my Blog... ;)

Not to nitpick, but isnt having all four surround speakers and your subwoofer on your desk in front of you a bit redundant?... After all you aint gonna get floorshaking bass and surround sound with them all being there arent you?..

 

Monitor sure look nice tho, whats the response time on one of those puppies?

The use of space is excellent.

 

Are you able to stand on it? That's the ultimate test for me. The girl at the office furniture store thought I was out of my mind standing on the desk.

 

Can you disassemble it to get it out of the room?

 

What kind of wood did you use?

Yes I can stand on it, that was the first test I did, It's even level.

 

I wanted to build something I could disassemble but I couldn't think of a way to make it really sturdy and portable. But I was able to fit it through all the doors.

 

I used an Oak top and the rest is quality pine. Oak for the whole thing would cost way too much.
