nQuirer Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 I'm kinda new here, so bear with me... I was wondering if RGone or Angry Games could post an official revision history of the DFI LANParty nF4 series in order from newest to oldest. For example: R.A02 > R.A01 > R.A00 I'm sure I probably missed some inbetween or whatnot, but you get the idea. Also, if possible, add the beta revisions in a seperate section. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I recall reading somewhere that some people were getting beta revisions of the board. Sure this was ages ago, but the history just wouldn't be complete w/o 'em. Plus, if I recall correctly... I also remember reading that these were not only NOT supposed to be sold, but that these revisions shouldn't be used. Please correct me of any misconceptions I may have. Thank you very much for your time and attention.

nQuirer Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Hello, PM Rgone or Angry_games I did... As a matter of fact, I PMed both of them. Angry_Games read my message, but didn't reply. And RGone didn't even read it. Hmmmmmm...
nQuirer Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Was it something I said? It's been almost two weeks since I posted and I've got nothing. I even tried PMing both of them. I honestly doubt this question is even remotely intricate; especially for RG or AG. I mean, they've replied to posts that've been posted much after this one. So that leads me to conclude that it's either me or my question. And I doubt it's me, because I don't think I've said anything inappropriate. Therefore, it must be something about my question. Hmm... I don't know, but for some reason, RG, AG, all other DFI reps I've asked get all wierd when the subject of revisions comes up. But then again, maybe it's just me... Sorrento Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Give it some time, the amount of data you ask for might be huge... or at least a lot of work to find.
matthewk Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Actually I'd like to know this info too.
timpanogos Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I don't know about board versions, but here is a great link for bios history http://www.dfi-bios.tk/
Otter Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I'd like to see this too. It's possible that Angry is having trouble getting this info from Taiwan. He's posted before about problems with the language barrier within DFI.
hifi Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Well, it would be polite to at least acknowlege the attempt at the information...forgive me, but how long would it take to type "I'm working on it" for you...it would probably make a nice sticky here at the forums at the very least... jelbo Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Well, if there are indeed some (minor) flaws in certain revisions, people might be blaming them for problems they have, and massively try to RMA them. I think DFI wants to avoid that.
